Age Of Conan is a level based MMORPG that focuses on skill tree based progression. Characters advance by completing quests and killing monsters for experience points. With some of the best graphics to grace an MMO to date and some very immersive quests and lore, AoC is quite a nice play right off the bat. The unique directional swing button combos and gory finishing moves make it very fun to play. The only draw backs to this game is it seems very linear with each area being very dependant on level ranges, and end game content originally being quite sparse that caused a lot of players to quit before the game really got going. This game is quite possibly one of the best games to come out over the last few years with quite possibly the worst management and roll out. Funcom over extended themselves creating tons of hype and generating hundreds of thousands of interested gamers only to flop at launch with very little support, tons of bugs and many empty promises and missed deadlines that all but killed this game for most.
